Queens Gallery

Images showing some of the wonderful Faberge collection that can be seen within the Queens Gallery housed at Holyrood Palace Edinburgh.  Also pictured are two statues which are also part of the Gallery collection.  If you are in the city the complete collection, the palace and also the ruins of its abbey are definitely worth visiting.

Steel giraffes...

These cranes down at the docks in Edinburgh made me smile.  Looking like three giraffes lumbering along by the waterside with nowhere special to go.......a little like the cranes themselves that are now merely a relic of days gone by when the Port of leith was a busy gateway to the world.

Best seller!!

Card sales still going very well!  All designs being very well received and more outlets to be firmed up early next week.

One of 32 designs, 'Definition' a card showing a 1930's entry describing Edinburgh is selling particularly well......the text on the rear reads..

"Calligraphic detail showing Scotland's capital, Edinburgh.

Residents and visitors alike will all have their own idea of how we should define this wonderfully diverse and exciting city"
